Founded in 2009 by local entrepreneur and Certified Arborist Wesley Jenkins, Green Heritage Tree Services Ltd proudly serves the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding areas—including Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, Fall River, and beyond.

With over 22 years of experience in the arboriculture industry, Wesley brings a deep understanding of tree care, safety, and environmental stewardship to every project. As a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), he maintains his credentials through ongoing education and recertification every three years—ensuring clients benefit from the latest industry standards and best practices.

Wesley’s connection to trees runs far deeper than professional training. Growing up in rural northern New Brunswick, he spent his childhood immersed in the world of wildlife and forestry conservation alongside his father. With both grandfathers also working in the logging industry, forestry became more than a career path—it became part of his identity. From studying bird nesting patterns high in the trees with his father to pursuing a lifelong passion for climbing, Wesley’s journey into arboriculture was a natural one.

The name Green Heritage Tree Services reflects both Canada’s rich natural heritage and Wesley’s own family history in the forestry sector. His mission is to carry that legacy forward, building a business rooted in integrity, professionalism, and care for future generations.
